To ensure that assessment activities are regulated ATS-Inclusion hold a level 4 IQA Award for maintaining consistent, safe, and fair assessment practices.
We are experienced assessors of neurodiversity and disability, as well specialists in assistive software. We are committed to providing fair access to higher education for every student. With a combined experience of over 30 years in social work, social care management, and health, we also bring our expertise as former DSA centre managers and DSA needs assessors.
Zoë is a passionate advocate for neurodiversity and inclusion. As a registered Social Worker and qualified Autism Assessor, she has over 30 years of experience in the NHS, Health & Social Care, and the Private Sector. Zoë has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and challenging societal norms. Her commitment to empowering others and promoting diversity makes her a driving force in creating positive change. Zoë has delivered advocacy and diversity training to the voluntary sector and NHS, also mental health awareness training to governmental organisations. With her expertise in Psychiatry and Mental Health, Zoë also leverages her experiences as a former DSA Needs Assessor and Centre Manager. Her focus on emerging research for assistive software and neurodiversity helps to shape the vision of ATS-Inclusion.
Jon has been working within higher education disabled student support for over 25 years, in the capacity of Disability Adviser, DSA Needs Assessor and Assessment Centre Manager. Jon’s extensive experience within the role of Disability Adviser and the unique challenges this role presented within HE, has informed his interest in inclusive teaching, learning and assessment. Jon has developed learning materials and delivered training on reasonable adjustment & Equality law, core competency and disabilities awareness training. Jon’s perspective on problem solving resides firmly within a collaborative model where emphasis is placed on asking the right questions to deliver workable and equitable outcomes. Alongside this practical interest, Jon’s other area of interest is data science and artificial intelligence, and how this can be used to gain insight into the complexities that intersectionality plays in disability.
